Carl Victor cast iron cookware are designed by Göran Ek. It is produced in Höganäs Sweden.
The Carl Victor cast iron cookware is produced with highly regulated and controlled recycled steel, and is free from PTFE, PFOA and other chemicals.

Seasoning of Cast Iron:

All the Carl Victor cast iron cookware products are pre-seasoned in a vegetable oil at 400°C. When treating the Carl Victor pans and casseroles the right way, they will get a natural “Nonstick” effect. Meaning that one shall not wash the cast iron with detergents (As this will dry out the cast iron), do not wash in dishwasher (As this will cover the cast iron in rust, and will have to be seasoned again), do not store it humid or with food in them.

Cast iron ware is a natural product that requires minimum care. Do not use detergents or scouring agents, etc. Use cooking oil, butter or margarine for frying and browning. When cleaning, use only hot water and a brush. Wipe the surface dry.

Do not store food in your Carl Victor product as this could lead to rusting.  It is a good idea to rub the pan with cooking oil after use.
