There is something special about a Solidteknics pan. Built from seamless, chemical-free wrought iron, Solidteknics pans are built to last for generations. They conduct heat like no others and perform flawlessly both in the kitchen and on open fires, improving with age.

There are plenty of good things to be said about this range, but I feel the main benefits of Solidteknics pans (apart from their elegance and robust build) is their versatility. A Solidteknics pan can be used on any hob and even directly over fire. A pan can go from hob to oven, barbecue to fire pit.

Having used both the 18cm skillet and 26cm skillet for the last year, these are my thoughts:
* Although it took some time getting used to the longer handle, it is very comfortable in the hand - both pans have a nice weight and are very well balanced.
* Always check there is a thin layer of oil before cooking to avoid food sticking to the pan
* It helps to keep the temperature as low as possible as pan heats quickly
* The smaller skillet is perfect for omelettes, roasting nuts and frying small cuts of meat.
* The larger skillet can handle fish fillets, steaks and can easily cook a meal for two.
* Cleaning is easier when done straight after cooking.
* Both pans deliver excellent results! Very happy with both and I find that a selection of different skillets helps to increase your cooking repertoire.

There is no doubt that a pan that is good for the planet, built for longevity, stylish but also easy to handle with the ability to cook flawlessly is a winning combination.
