It would appear that the French know a thing or two about high quality enamelled cast iron having firmly established their reputation and expertise with a long tradition of manufacturing this type of cookware. The first traces of the existing foundry (where Chasseur items are made) are pre-historic. However, the Invicta foundry and enamelling plants were established in 1924 in Donchery, in the French Champagne-Ardenne region.
The Invicta foundry controls 100% of the manufacturing process in house. Chasseur cookware boasts a tough, cast iron core, that’s been specifically designed to conduct heat. On the outside, a double layer of enamel gives Chasseur its attractive good looks.
We were particularly drawn to the Chasseur brand due to their excellent reputation, value for money and the fact that the brand is the first choice for some professional chefs.
Chasseur is a superior quality enamelled cast iron cookware range which is perfect for all cooking abilities and for those who love authentic characteristic flavours associated with slow cooking. Get yours here.
